Learn how chemical engineers create value from waste as Thomas Brewer (SABMiller, UK) talks about the projects he's worked on throughout his career including anaerobic digestion, using waste carbon dioxide to grow tomatoes, and compressor loading.

Thomas was the lead process engineer for the UK's first bio-ethanol facility and having worked across the world, including Africa and China, has many stories to share and will be happy to answer questions.

This online talk is aimed at all who want to be inspired by the changes that chemical engineers can make through their daily work.

Thomas Brewer CEng FIChemE is a senior process engineer with experience in operations, design, energy management and commissioning in the sugar and biofuels industry, who has recently joined the brewing industry.

He specialises in energy management, innovative design, and bio-fuels.
