Hi,
you can search about FGD (flue gas desulfurization) process. such as in absorption SO2 with NaOH we can produce Sodium Bisulfite. you can find  more information in Gas purification, by cohl.

Actually I am looking for the process using Soda Ash.
Main requirement is to know the process & operating conditions.
