Dear soon to be alumni of Class of 2015,

IIT Bombay cordially invites you to the Institute “ Institute
Valedictory Function ” at 5:15 pm at P. C. Saxena Auditorium on 30th
April 2015. We are very fortunate to have Prof Juzer Vasi as the
speaker. Prof JM Vasi is one of the most popular professors of the
Institute. He has held the positions of Head of Department, Deputy
Director of the Institute and many others. Many consider him to be the
father of micro and nano-electronics in India. Ever popular among IITans
as a teacher and a friend, he was conferred with the Lifetime Achievement
Award from IIT Bombay in 2013".


While it is a joy to graduate from IIT Bombay, it is also important for
you all to stay connected with this Institute all your life. To stay
connected, it will help us immensely if you could fill these 2 online
forms.

1.      IITBAA Life membership form
2.      Fresher’s welcome form

The first one will help you become life member of IIT Bombay Alumni
Association automatically. Membership to IITBAA is automatic as the fees
are deducted from your caution money deposit (unless you visit the site
and specify otherwise). However, you need to fill up the form and submit a
colored passport sized photograph along with a print-out of the filled
form at IITBAA office, first floor Gulmohar Building to enable IITBAA to
issue you the membership card. You can pick up your card from AA office on
the day of your convocation or request a friend to pick it up on your
behalf. Otherwise we can post it to you at your permanent address
afterwards. Please visit http://asc.iitb.ac.in/acadmenu/index.jsp to
fill"Alumni form" with  the  required information.

The second form will help IITBAA to connect you to the other alumni in the
location you will be relocating to. Here is the form :

IITBAA chapters arrange welcome parties for you through the already
established alumni network which is spread around the world. Through this
you connect to seniors and super seniors. You will also be sent timely
invites and updates about any IITB reunions and events that might be
happening around you. If your place of job/university for further studies
is not decided yet, fill 'Undecided' for both chapter and country and
please ensure to remain connected and get back to us with the developments
at iitbaa...@iitbombay.org . We will update the records. Also, at the
end of this form, you will be asked to put in your T-Shirt size and an
option to be associated with the Give One Program of IITB, a fundraising
initiative where young alumni pledge 1% of their future income toward
supporting overall improvement and excellence at IIT Bombay.
