Greetings from GATECounsellor !

GATECounsellor is a non-profitable initiative taken by IIT postgraduates motivated
solely to provide an open discussion forum for students aspiring for higher
education.

One of the our flagship program under this initiative is Undergraduate Student Career
Counselling Program(USCP) in which with the help and support of postgraduate students
(MTech /ME/MS/MSc/PhD) from all Indian institutes since last two years, we have been
trying to create a platform for students who are in the same condition today as we were
a few years back. A platform which they can access easily, discuss freely and trust
considerably. As we have also experienced, most students struggle to get right information
at the right time. Sometimes proper guidance proves like a turning point in life. Fortunately,
we have been endowed an opportunity to be in a system which talks of freedom, facility and
faith and thus, also a responsibility to hold out a hand to others who need it.
Thus, we would like to invite you to join us, share your experiences and give the much
needed guidance to the higher-education aspirants.

How can you contribute? :

We plan to open a separate thread for all IITs/IISc/BHU/PSUs/NITs and other engineering
colleges and research labs under each technical main thread in our forum. A team of
counsellors from each college/department will handle the queries of his/her thread.
Whenever a new query comes on the thread, the concerned person will be alerted by an email.

A small introduction about the Moderator(Counsellor) will be given on the thread page, and Moderators
will have special permission on the forum.
