We are looking for a sound Chemical Engineer for the position of Process Development Manager. He should be from a reputed institute preferably with 1 to 4 years of work experience in the Process Industry either in direct Manufacturing or in related Technical functions. In addition the candidate should exhibit good communication skills, managerial abilities and must be a very good team player.                                                               

 

The position is for the manufacturing set up of Croda India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Croda International Plc, UK. This business in India was earlier part of ICI plc and now has been acquired by Croda worldwide. Croda is world's leading manufacturer of surfactants and oleochemical derivatives with a turnover of around US $2 bn. Croda provide specialty ingredients for the global consumer and healthcare markets. From foods to cars to cleaning wipes: the markets Croda serve are as diverse as industry itself. 

 

The position is for the Croda's Thane manufacturing site located at Navi Mumbai. The factory manufactures around 300 speciality chemical products using a wide range of unit processes in 11 batch plants. The Process Development Manager provides technical support to manufacturing operation. He would be responsible for

 

•           Process design for modification / expansion. 

•           Process Safety & Hazard studies and implementing effective solution for process safety. 

•           Conceptualizing of new process scheme.

•           Planning and upgrading the process technology in plant. 

•           Recommending effective solution for the process problems.

•           Preparation of Operating Procedure for new schemes and efficiency improvement.
