Reminder: UPG To Host Special Workshop on Restorative Practices - 1st
Session, March 30th, 7pm, Admin Bldg
UPG will be holding a workshop on new techniques for proactively
managing behavioral issues through positive reinforcement and student
self-management groups in schools that have have had a dramatic impact
on bullying and cyberbullying issues.
The first of our two-part workshop will introduce the key elements of
Restorative Practices (RP) with our guest Mr. Steve Korr. The second
session will delve further into the specifics of RP with more examples
and opportunities to discuss the techniques of RP.

Teen Parenting Videos Still Available on Channel 42
If you happened to miss our program on parenting for teens called
"Yes, Your Teen (or PreTeen) is Crazy", you may still view the video
rerun of the event. The program is being provided on cable channel 42
through March 30th at 8 & 11 pm with Judge Cerski's excellent
introduction at 7pm. These were excellent presentations by the judge,
Cass McGoff, and Dr. Michael Bradley and we invite you to view this,
if possible.

Planning Continues on Can You Dig It? Day
A meeting to finalize Can You Dig It? Day plans on Wednesday, April
1st, at 7 pm at Maureen Boland's house (no fooling!) at 7703 West Ave
in Elkins Park. At that point, our community will be just a few weeks
away from the big event on April 19th, and spring break will be during
that time.
