Did anyone take the paper I put on the piano bench where people could sign up to organize soup for the fall?  (Might have gotten mixed in with Transition Town things . . .)

    Hello,

On behalf of everyone at Grass lake Sanctuary, i wanted to thank the
organizers of Chelsea soup for the opportunity to present and also for the
support you offered with the micro grant. But most importantly for helping
us get the word out to the community and giving us the chance to connect
    with some wonderful new people.
Look forward to seeing you in the fall,
    Take care,
    Robin Brophy

Carolyn,
Just checked, and it's not with the TTC stuff. Sorry.

I signed up just before I left.  When I did, I was the only one who had signed it.  I left a little early…..

Sorry everyone, just saw this. I have those papers.

Cathy Muha, Pat Kaminsky, Jill Andrews, and Susan Morrel -Samuels all
signed up.

We also have about $50 to give from the fund for food for the next
soup. I assume a meeting will be called in late summer/ fall. I will
contact others who have come to soup to see if they would like to be
involved. I plan to keep volunteering but with a smaller role. I would
be happy to come to the first meeting with a list of tasks that need to
be accomplished to help with organization.
Thanks,
Lucy

Thanks Lucy. Sounds good.

Another story idea for you and the Sun Times could be about the Chelsea 99% group. Colleen Verge is a retired Library Director and John is a teacher at Eastern. John is leaving town in a week or two for six weeks. Colleen lives out on Cavanaugh Lake. Colleen's # if you want to call her is 475-1748. They are both really interesting people. They are planning a speaker on campaign finance reform, superpacs, the buying of elections by the ultra rich, etc. in July at the library. And protest in front of the old post office every Sunday from 11:30 to 12:30. They have a facebook page and sponsored a really cool training workshop that about 30 people attended in April...
