See you all at the next meeting Thursday March 1, 7:30 414 w middle street
Yippee! A little good news for Chelsea Soup.
Hi Lucy,
I received your email with no problems. Sorry I didn't get back to you
yesterday; I wrote a reply and failed to hit send before I ran out the door!
This is an interesting well written feature. Can you send the pictures
separately? They transfer better to newsprint if we receive them as PDF or
jpeg.
Thanks!
Wendy

Dear Wendy,
Nice to talk to you. Here is the article that I wrote up. Please let me
know that you got it. My phone number is 734 475 3884.
Look forward to hearing from you!

Hopefully the article will bring forth volunteers to help, I feel
uncomfortable asking random people who happen to come to help clean up.
I am fine with heading up the clean up this time, but if it is okay
with Gonzalo perhaps instead of helping with the cooking he could either
help with the clean-up or he could just skip working this time
altogether so that we can have some of the day to spend together without
making our entire day the soup. I can see giving trays to the tables
and having them stack their dishes on the trays. Claire said she would
help with clean up and Susan vaguely volunteered Palmer although we
haven't heard back from him. Joan Wolf offered to volunteer.. we could
ask her to help with clean up too. Worse case scenario I can come back
Monday morning and vacuum and scrub the bathrooms etc. as long as there
is no other renter. PR for the April soup should be much easier and very
good clean up is essential to our relationship with MFC.
Bringing your own bowls is not mentioned in either the article or on the
ticket info so I am afriad that it is too late to do that. We will still
be washing plates knives forks spoons cups etc so it won't really make
much difference to wash bowls. Susan volunteered to have the tables
set before the dinner which will be really beautiful. I have a set of 5
votive candle holders and 4 pairs of regular candle holders which I can
lend for the occasion. I also have some miscellaneous twinkly lights and
if you want to use them the round plastic table clothes we used at the
garden dinner, I am not sure what sort of centerpieces Susan is
planning. We should probably remember to put high quality paper napkins
on the shopping list unless someone has that many cloth napkins.
