Dear Alison,

In our two most recent episodes of What Could Possibly Go Right?, host Vicki Robin welcomes permaculture teacher and designer, Penny Livingston, and national leader for Braver Angels, John Wood, Jr..

I was fascinated by Penny's reasoning for choosing regenerative measures over sustainable ones. In her own words, "We've been treating the earth like a bank account, where we're taking out money and not putting money back in."

During his episode, John shares an important and hopeful example of what our country can be, despite our differing political opinions, if we can collectively adopt an internal attitude of empathy and understanding.
EPISODE 48: EXPANDING PERMACULTURE LITERACY FOR RESILIENCE AND REGENERATION

Penny Livingston is internationally recognized as a prominent permaculture teacher, designer, and speaker. She has been teaching internationally and working professionally in land management, regenerative design, and permaculture development for 25 years. She holds an MS in Eco-Social Regeneration, has 3 diplomas in Permaculture Design, and has been studying the Hermetic Tradition of alchemy and herbal medicine-making all over the world.

EPISODE 49: POLITICAL POLARIZATION, COMMITMENT TO GOODWILL, AND REAWAKENING THE NONVIOLENT SPIRIT

John Wood, Jr. is a national leader for Braver Angels, a former nominee for Congress, former Vice-Chairman of the Republican Party of Los Angeles County, musical artist, and a noted writer and speaker on issues of political and racial reconciliation.

One of our listeners described the show as a "drink of cool water for the soul being scorched by the craziness of the world" and we couldn't agree more. If you're enjoying What Could Possibly Go Right? please leave us a five-star review so we can continue sharing our guests' important messages.

In gratitude,

The natural world is where we evolved.
It's where our minds evolved.
It's where we became who we truly are,
and it's where we are most at home.”

Michael McCarthy –

Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and contemplate in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.  John Muir
