Last outdoor pizza party of the year for the NeighborWood.  You're all invited, and feel free to invite others with ecological, organic, and resilient-living values who might be interested.

Subject: Pizza party announcement for October 19

Hello everybody,

We'll be getting together for a pizza party one more time this year.  Depending on which weather forecast you follow, it's going to either be mostly sunny or it's going to rain on Saturday, October 19.  Both forecasts agree that we'll have a high in the 60's.  Let's be optimistic.

Mark your calendars!

Details to follow...  At minimum we can show progress on the common house and share updates on the site plan, for which the County is presently reviewing locations of septic systems.  We've had to make further changes in the layout to accommodate places with acceptable soil for drain fields.

The pizza starts at 3:00 PM.  As usual, we'll provide dough, sauce, and cheese, and all the equipment to bake the pizzas in the outdoor earth oven.  You can bring your favorite toppings.  When everybody brings something, we have always had more than enough.

If I can figure it out, we might have some fun and useful activity at the community site prior to the pizza start time.  I'll send out an update if anything like that is added.

Saturday, October 19th
Pizzas start at 3:00 PM
Location: Sylvan's NeighborWood site, 5601 Conway Rd., Chelsea MI

It's on east side of the road at the crest of the hill.  Turn into the gravel driveway.  There is an interior parking area (grass and packed earth) in just about the same location where the private drive cul-de-sac is projected to be in the latest version of the plans.

Hopefully we'll see some new people, too, as we almost always do!
