FYI, I attach two belated follow-ups on Patrick Drumm's good 2024 Cheiron presentation, "The Beginnings of the American Space Program: Research Contributions from Human Physiology and Comparative Psychology." Brady's article offers an internalist history of the research contributions of behavior analysis to the early space program — the chimps' training and testing. "Able in Space" is a brief, brief article on the chimp — Able's — connections to Kansas.
