Hello colleagues.

I recently came across an anecdote about an early Canadian Psychological Association meeting in which it sounds like a rat being used to give a demonstration escaped into the lecture hall. I would love to have more detail on this so as to possibly be able to include it in my work on Magda Arnold. Does anyone know anything more about this? Tips welcome!!

My source is a 1976 oral history of Mary Northway. Here is the relevant passage:

I also found an intriguing mention of a "Mental Health Requiem" by a John D. Ketcham of U of Toronto from this source: http://rgtonks.ca/Courses/History/Canada2/CanUPsy.htm
Does anyone know anything further about that?

Regards,
Elissa
