As an accompaniment to our current exhibit, Scientific Nursery, the Cummings Center will be hosting a talk by Dr. Elisabeth Yang on the history of home nurseries. The talk will be livestreamed as well.

When: Thursday, Oct. 27th at 2pm ET

What: “’Kingdoms of Babes’: Home Nurseries in Turn-of-the-Century America,” a talk by Dr. Elisabeth Yang exploring the medicalization and transformation of the home nursery in the U.S.
