Boom: Bringing Hackers Club to Hawaii

Hi REALITY friends,

First, I miss you all tons and I hope you're all doing well! 

Alright, so hey, I am reaching out to you all with a request. I'd love your help on this project I'm putting together to get a computer programming club (Hackers Club) going at Voyager Public Charter School where I teach Language Arts. I am campaigning for 15 new laptops for students to use Google's CS First curriculum (yup, Joe Holberg's program). We'll be the first school in Hawaii to implement this hands-on, fun, and powerful curriculum that teaches students how to use coding to create games, music, animation, and more. I'll finally get to put my nerdy programming hobby to use :)

We raised $2,000 in 5 days. Wow. Many of the donations came from the REALITY community. You are an incredible and generous group of people. 

If we raise $800 more by Monday, Nov. 3 (TOMORROW) we will be fully funded for our computer costs. Please continue spreading the word. My kiddos literally do hand springs whenever we get a new funder :)
