JSONP and POST?

Ahh, great to know that you've opened the API.

But it's soo sad that we need to use JSON via POST to authenticate.
I think it's not possible using javascript.

Anyone knows how to authenticate using javascript?

Good point regarding POST in JS.
Initially, I just didn't want for passwords to flow around in GET
requests.
Do you think I should enable GET-based authentication with the same
syntax?

Yes, I'm going to provide HTTPS for authentication, but a couple of
months later.

Why not setup a remotekey (like FriendFeed) then you just use the remotekey instead of the password?.

But yes HTTPS is a must in that cases.

Or even better OAuth but it requires few changes to the current API.

I've just updated the API - the remote API key was introduced +
GET request was enabled for the authentication with JSON.

HTTPS is coming, have to deal with certificates.

OAuth is a great technique, but I'm not ready to introduce it by
this moment.
