hello everyone ,

my name is Naina Sharma . i am currently exploring open source development. i recently started exploring the checkstyle project and its architecture, i am interested in contributing to the checkstyle project and also plan to apply for GSOC2026. i am currently setting up the development environment to understand the codebase.

i would appreciate any guidance on beginner friendly issues or areas where i can start contributing.
