Hi everyone 👋

I’m Sharanya Mahajan, a Computer Science student with a strong interest in open source and clean, maintainable code. I’m currently contributing to Rocket.Chat and exploring different areas where I can add value, including improving code quality and resolving issues like checkstyle violations.

I’m also a contributor in GSSoC (GirlScript Summer of Code), where I gained hands-on experience working on real-world repositories, raising PRs, fixing bugs, and collaborating with maintainers. Through that journey, I’ve developed a good understanding of contribution workflows, code reviews, and maintaining coding standards.

I’m excited to continue contributing, learning from the community, and taking on meaningful issues. Looking forward to collaborating with you all!

Just to clarify, I have previously contributed under the GitHub username https://github.com/MiniPiku . Since my GitHub username is different from my real name, that may have caused the confusion.
