Good Afternoon,

I was doing a demonstration in UAT2 when I ran across this issue. I was also able to replicate the issue in production:

  1. Go to NYCHA Advanced Search
  2. Go to Spending Domain
  3. Go to Expense Categories and choose "Ranges - FA COST
  4. Choose FY 2019
  5. At this point, my Expense Category selection disappears.  This also happens in UAT2 under Budget Adv. Search

Hello Nicole,

We will review this and get back to you. If this is an issue, we will log this defect and add it to the current sprint.

Hello Nicole,

After reviewing this, we noticed, there is no data for expense category - "Ranges - FA COST” for 2019, hance once you select the year 2019, the expense category field refreshes and unselects "Ranges - FA COST”, because it’s not part of the data set for that year.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best,

Vishal Khaitan

That is not how it should behave. It should populate a screen that reads an error message

I have been testing this tonight and now see that this is how we have it system wide. I would like to discuss changing this behavior for the future. This is not a high priority.

Thank you!

Nicole

Sounds good Nicole. We will discuss about this change next week and add a ticket to the backlog.

Best,
