I also want to thank Agent Agrimar a little bit more personally now. He contacted me, by himself, after the initial release, trying to save the sinking ship that HL2MMod v1.0 was, he came through with a life saving coding help and suggestions that helped MMod support several games at once, without having to spawn several gigabytes of cloned files. Basically his "content mounting system", as I like to call it, saved the day right when I needed it most. I REALLY want you to check out his personal project, Half-Life 2 : Plus, which aims to modify the usual Half-Life 2 experience with small additions, tweaks, and changes to make it not too different, not too similar. His project also adds unique "Suitless Mode" which allows player to complete the entire game without your trusty HEV suit. I'd also want to give a shout out to Team Fortress 2 : Classic , which Agent Agrimar is a part of, he's an extremely talented coder and truly his work deserves a recognition. Also, if you're one of them talented source engine folks, he is seeking for some help from modelling and texturing front ( proper suitless hand models, model fixes and what not ), please contact him either through his mod page, or through his profile directly, thank you!

You can even choose the level of slow motion (matrix style, Fallout style, Max Payne style iirc) and the free aim camera actually worked! Best part is you can modify it even further with add-ons. New weapon (that doesn't need this stupid weapon preset script like Overcharged to make it work. You can just made a new text file to add them in.) Or even made a new mod out of it (anyone remember BSnooch? SMOD Tactical, SMOD Outbreak, CSS Scifi 3. SMOD Crylife, I had so much fun playing em back then. )

The only picture I could find with an appropriate head shot view to give this a better try turned out to be an old black and white photo of my Dad, so I turned the screenshot into a black and white picture to make it look more appropriate. It's a little hard to get a real idea of who it is because of the goggles, but I think you can still get a good idea of the kind of effect you can get with this approach:

It turns out to be quite simple to do - here's how:

Use the GTP file extractor to unpack the file called "graphics1.gtp" - inside you will find a file called "pilot_g1.dds" inside the folder graphics\characters\pilot_g1\textures.

Open up that file in PhotoShop (or similar image program), and in the bottom left corner you will see the left half of the default pilot's face. Just find a suitable photo with a straight-on head shot that you can crop in half and trim to the right size, and paste it down on top of the default pilot's face.

Then, flatten the image and save it down as "pilot_g1.dds" and put it in the following folder (which you will have to create):

Rise of Flight\data\graphics\characters\pilot_g1\textures

You can do the same thing with the Entente pilot - just look for and substitute files/folders with "pilot_f1" instead of "pilot_g1" in the name. and otherwise follow the same procedure above.

Enjoy!

Now I guess we'll have to have a "Best Pilot Screenshot contest" thread while we wait for the next patch

These cameras work well for multiple exposure because you don't need to wind on between frames, and with a Holga camera you can even wind on half a frame or less, which gives you this rather messy overlapping effect. But I love it! And I enjoy trying to figure out what each image is. I would love to learn how to make my double-exposed photographs more precise, so have done some research! Let's find out what I learned..

You are absolutely obsessed with the paranormal. Your main goal in life is to prove the existence of every occult that has been whispered about for years, the stories only found in long forgotten pages of dusty books.

My main software for 3D is Blender 2.8, and there are many reasons behind that. I have a wide experience with different 3D software packages, such as 3ds Max, which I used only while working at a studio for around 4-5 years, and Maya. Throughout my professional career, I have worked with different tools on different projects and I found Blender to be my personal favorite. It has exactly everything I want for making 3D art, and with the open community as well as a huge variation of addons, it gives you a range of possibilities to customize your Blender workspace environment.

11) Install [ONE] of these mods: - Alternate Start - Live Another Life
Install the voiceover addon on top of the main mod (+ optional addons here , here, here or here ).
- Skyrim Unbound Reborn
- RASR - Random Alternate Start Reborn
- Realm of Lorkhan - Freeform Alternate Start
- Optional Quick Start
Why you need this? These mods provide wide amount of alternative starts to the game for those who do not wish to go through the lengthy intro sequence at Helgen. The thing is that vanilla start (scene in Helgen) is VERY heavy-scripted. And when you will install let's say, 200+ mods and start a new game, your Skyrim will be very heavy overloaded. And there's very high chance that your game will crash (because the Papyrus, Skyrim's script engine, was [not] updated in SE and it's same clunky and limited), even if the game itself is absolutely stable. And now these mods save the day! You can just skip this heavy-scripted scene and start anywhere you like. Besides, they have a really wide amount of alternative start, great for roleplay.
Which one to use, what is the difference? Long story short, ASLAL provides more "roleplay-wise" starts - you will appear in a certain cell, depending on your start option choice, and also has plenty of additional start options addons.
Unbound will spawn you randomly, so less "immersive" start, but it allows you highly adjustable character customization (gear, spells etc) which ASLAL doesn't, and the most important - it allows you to play as NON-Dragonborn (but you can "become" it in MCM anytime), which is really a great option.
RASR is somewhat like a mix of these two, a pretty underrated gem and Realm of Lorkhan is a really fresh and unique alternate start mod, which may look note quite "lore-friendly" to some players, but it's really well-designed and give you very interesting starting choices for your character class and even curses - negative attributes to balance class bonuses (if you want so, all these features are entirely optional - my only 2 cents about it is that some class bonuses are still somewhat too strong even with curses, so you may want to adjust them in SSEEdit, which is very simple). Lastly, Realm of Lorkhan has on pretty immersion-breaking (for some players) thing - crystals you appear from after starting the game are not going anywhere and are just scattared across Skyrim. To remove them, use this patch. Also, make sure to install this fix.
Optional Quick Start is a super-simple alternative, which is not quite "alternate start" mod, but rather "skip Helgen into" one.

Rudy ENB While ENB preset choices is a matter of taste more then anything else - still, there are always some presets that are top-notch in terms of overall quality and balance. And Rudy ENB is one of them - it's my personal favorite for both Skyrim LE and Skyrim SE. It has amazing quality of shaders, a gret balance between fantasy, cinematic and realistic look, great performance. Great lighting, great water look and just absolutely polished approach to ENB tweaking in general - that's all about Rudy's preset. In addition, you can always be sure it's always uptodate with all newest ENB effects and it's also an absolute champion in terms of compatibility - it has version for almost each weather mod and compatible with all 3 popular lighting mods at the same time. If you are not quite sure about ENB choice now, but wanna start from something really great - seek no more! Weather mods compatibility: Obsidian, CoT, NAT, Aequinoctium, Vivid, Rustic, Dolomite. Lighting mods compatibility: ELFX, LUX, ELE.

Silent Horizons ENB Greatly customizable fantasy-cinematic ENB preset with great compatibility spectrum. A member of my personal TOP-10 ENB presets list. Weather mods compatibility: Obsidian, NAT, Dolomite, Aequinoctium, Mythical Ages, Vivid. Lighting mods compatibility: ELFX, ELE.

Natural and Atmospheric Tamriel ENB A successor to very popular PRT ENB, NAT ENB is an incredibly cinematic ENB preset with unique filmic touch. A member of my personal TOP-10 ENB presets list. Weather mods compatibility: None. Use ENB preset's own weather plugin. Lighting mods compatibility: ELFX, ELE.

Aequinoctium ENB A bright ENB preset with a bit of photorealism touch, with cinematic and vibrant look as well. Weather mods compatibility: Aequinoctium. Lighting mods compatibility: None officially supported, but looking fine with ELFX.

Semirealis ENB,Intrigued ENB,NVT ENB Three modern SE ENB presets from the same author - with pretty similar look, but a bit different in details. Cold, dark and cinematic vibes with great shaders quality. Weather mods compatibility: Vanilla, Obsidian, NAT, Dolomite, Aequinoctium, Mythical Ages, Vivid, Surreal, Mythical. Lighting mods compatibility: ELFX.

eisVogel v2 ENB A very vibrant preset with cinematic touch. Can be called a stripped down version of Tetrachromatic ENB for Skyrim LE (as unfortunately proper vibrant, saturated presets are not possible on the same level as it was possible in LE). If you're fan of vibrancy - this one is what you should definitely try. Also has a few color presets inside. A member of my personal TOP-10 ENB presets list. Weather mods compatibility: Dolomite. Lighting mods compatibility: ELFX.

Vivid Weathers The most popular weather mod for Skyrim SE which stands for its name - vivid, vibrant, tasty weathers with a very big variety. The subjective downside of the is that it makes game really more vibrant in many cases, so if you like cinematic/realistic look, that most likely not your best candidate. The objective drawback is that it has somewhat more minor visual glitches than the LE version of the mod, but it's nothing critical and on practice, most likely you won't even notice. Also has enough of ENB presets tweaked for it, but not close as much as Obsidian has, for example.
