Chebfun V4.0 Release

The Chebfun Team is delighted to announce the availability of

Chebfun Version 4.0 at our website

      http://www.maths.ox.ac.uk/chebfun/download/

This release is freely available under a BSD license and, in

addition to improved performance and reliability, offers many

new developments, including:

 * A more powerful syntax for differential equations,

      including piecewise smooth solutions

 * A new graphical interface (chebgui) for boundary-value,

      eigenvalue, and evolution DEs

 * A large new collection of examples showing Chebfun in action

Version 4.0 also represents a big change in the organisational

structure of the project by moving to fully open-source framework

and encouraging contributions from new team members outside of

Oxford. For details of how to get involved, take a look at the
