History of complaints : I was given an offer of 0% Overdraft scheme. For 1 lak premium 2000000 OD. After 15 day of policy documents receipt they stopped picking my call. Now reliance is not ready to cancel the policy as 15 days freelook period is over. My point is It is Reliance franchise who gave this false offer and deliberately delayed the process for 15 days so that free look period expires. Somehow Reliance is involved in this.
Willing to join a common court case? : YES. I have already spoken with one of the consumer court lawyer.
How can you help this fight? : I have consulted one lawyer. As I do not have anything in writing she asked me to log a police complaint against those numbers and to ask them to submit their report.

My name is Ginson P U, I got call from one Mr. VIKRAM SINGH whose phone No. 8447771085 . Somewhere around 10th or 11th January 2015 . He asked me are you looking for personal loan I told yes, then he told me that Reliance Insurance company has done tie-up with Aditya Birla Finance. He proposed to me that if I buy this policy whose Premium is Rs.1 lac then same will be assigned to Aditya Birla which will provide me a loan 10 times of the premium i.e Rs. 10 lac loan for 15 year because policy maturity time is 15 year & he told me you only have to pay only yearly Rs. 1 lac premium for 10 years & to Aditya Birla the amount will revert back after maturity with 4.5% interest. Mr. ROHIT AGRAWAL mob called me and informed that he works for Reliance insurance and will be my Relationship Manager from Reliance Insurance company his phone Number is 9582165761 and Mr. RAJESH BHATIA introduced himself as representative of Aditya birla and informed me that he will be my Relationship manager from Aditya Birla his phone No. is It was informed that after picking up the documents of insurance they will checking my CIBIL score and will inform whether I will be eligible for loan or not and after confirming that my CIBIL score makes me eligible for loan then only insurance policy will be processed. It was further informed by Mr. Rajesh Bhatia, Mr. Vikram & Mr. Rohit Aggrawal that the entire process of disbursement of loan will be completed within 30 days of free look in period of the policy. It sounded good to me. I agreed to buy the policy believing the representation made to me about the loan. Mr. Vikram told me that when Reliance Insurance will call you for verification and ask you that have you got any offer for loan etc. then you have to say no as this scheme is dealt from higher management and the person contacting will be a lower level employee hence will not be knowing about the loan scheme. The entire solicitation for the policy was done over phone only. Mr. ROHIT AGGRAWAL who is your Relationship Manager is part of Reliance Insurance higher management and you can get the confirmation about loan its rate of interest and its term from him only. Mr. RAJESH BHATIA & Mr. VIKRAM SINGH told me that as soon as I receive my policy document I have to forward the details to them & then they will start the loan process. I received my policy document vide speed post 17th of January 2015 ,My Policy No. is I forwarded the details of my policy to Mr. RAJESH BHATIA, ROHIT AGGRAWAL & VIKRAM SINGH and they told me that they will start the process of loan. I was provided with a customer care numbers and Ankita was told to be the executive to be contacted for any query. In between they have done many process with me like telephonic verification & telephonic form filing etc by various persons. But despite 20 days have lapsed except calls from various person I did not receive any confirmation in writing neither from Reliance Insurance nor from Aditya Birla. Hence I started calling them and asking them that why loan disbursement is taking so much time and no written confirmation is given to me, they informed that due various holidays there is a slight delay but I will soon be receiving call from both Reliance insurance as well as from Aditya birla about the loan confirmation. As the 30 days free look in period was approaching I was getting anxious and started calling up Rajesh Bhatia and told him that if the loan is not credited in my account within next two days I will be cancelling my policy on this he told me to contact Mr. VINAY ROY on
who will confirm about the loan disbursement and if I want to cancel the policy he will be the person guiding me. But when I called up the number the message that I got was that that “the number does not exist” thereafter when I tried to contact each one of them none are answering their phone. At this point I realized that this entire design was formulated for sale this policy and cheap rate loan was only an enticement for luring me. I am now convinced that the entire story has been cooked up to
sell the insurance policy under the guise of loan at cheap interest rate and the follow up communication were just to ensure that I should not cancel my policy within 30 day of free look in period. I trusted the representation due to big brand name RIL & Aditya Birla. I was not aware that these types of fraud which are going on in the name of these companies. The person committing same are somewhere connected to these companies as they used to come to know of each and every conversation and details of my policy. I was defrauded to buy this insurance. I have written vide e – mail to Reliance life Insurance attaching all the documents and reason for cancellation. please help me getting the policy cancel & refund of the premium. Thanks Ginson P U
