Decent product, horrible customer support.

Bought this at a local store. Brand new in the box. Looked great and the kids loved it.
When I bought it, winter was about to start so I only used it once. After winter was over I pulled it back out of the closet in the house where I stored it and set it up. My son and daughter got on it and played for awhile. Then i noticed it started to lean over a little when my son was climbing it. (My son is 6 and weighs 40 pounds max, it should not be leaning over on him). I went over to investigate and there was a huge rip in the corner at the top of where you climb to get on the slide.
Considering that my son only weighs 40 pounds and my daughter is 2 years old. They shouldn't have been able to rip this thing. They weren't even being rough. My assumption is that there was obviously some sort of defect.
I called customer support listed on the box because it says to contact them for any issues. I explained the situation and was told that there was nothing they could do to replace it. Even though I had only used this thing twice and kept it properly stored, I had owned it for too long to have it replaced. MY KIDS PLAYED ON IT 2 TIMES! The only thing they did was suggest a patch kit.
I get it, these things will eventually break and rip but from a 40lbs kid on his second time playing on it? That's just poor quality.
I finally patched the hole myself with a needle and some fishing wire. We actually just used it again yesterday and it was fine. That's the only reason this thing is getting 3 stars. I'm sure this rip was simply a defect but the fact that customer service was so unhelpful in this ordeal, I will never purchase a product from them again. I plan to buy a much more expensive one of these soon because my kids love it. Banzai will not see a dime of that money though. I will go through another company. You can't just sell products, you have to stand behind them and they do not.

this slide has lasted 3 years and is so far still working! the pool holds the perfect amount of water and the canopy over the cage is .nice and shady for hanging out in. plus, the geysers keep away bees for the most part.
