Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Consultant to support a leading financial services client in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, develop interactive dashboards, perform data analysis, and deliver actionable business insights. This is a highly client-facing role requiring excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Business Analysis, or Data Analytics
Strong experience with Power BI (Microsoft Fabric is highly preferred)
Experience with Cognos (preferred)
Strong SQL skills including T-SQL and/or PL/SQL
Experience developing dashboards, reports, KPIs, and executive scorecards
Strong data visualization and data storytelling skills
Experience working directly with business stakeholders and gathering reporting requirements
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements
Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
Perform ad hoc analysis to support business decision-making
Translate complex business requirements into analytical solutions
Develop KPIs, scorecards, and executive dashboards
Interpret data and present meaningful business insights
Collaborate with Data Management teams to improve data quality and governance
Identify data gaps and recommend process improvements
Support enterprise data transformation initiatives
Document business requirements and analytics solutions
Education
Bachelor's degree required
Master's degree is a plus
Certifications (Preferred)
Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
Tableau Certification
Alteryx Certification
Candidate Must Have
Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
Experience working with business users and leadership teams
Power BI expertise
SQL proficiency
Financial Services or Banking domain experience preferred
Willingness to work onsite in Fort Worth, TX (3 days per week)
