We have a wonderful vintage Adirondack chair we've had for years now, but it is so weather worn and well-loved that it's ready to retire. Everyone has spent time sitting in the back yard comfortably nestled in its arms reading and enjoying themselves as they catch a few rays and drinking a cold one of choice. No doubt it's only a matter of time before the darn thing collapses and I was especially pleased to see the Highwood Reclining Adirondack Adult Chair arrive.

In addition to the chair and the side table, we also have the Highwood Folding Ottoman. The table is quite sturdy and there is enough room to put both a book or magazine and a drink on it. I especially love the design. When it folds up it comes apart in the middle and can actually be carried by an internally designed handle. If you do decide to store it, it is quite compact and can be tucked away in your garage or storage shed.

We're very pleased with the quality of our Highwood Adirondack furniture and are certainly glad their will be no more scraping or painting in our future. It's definitely high end price wise and not for everyone, but it will last for years. The only thing I've had to do with the table is wipe it down with a cloth. The texture is similar to common siding and I'm sure that the only thing it will need a yearly scrubbing.
