Updating Firmware IMAX B6AC charger.

Hello, Im outside the RC world but i got the IMAX B6AC charger for charging my batteries for airsoft. Someone else bought my charger but when checking the firmware isnt up to date. It doesnt charge lipo. And i have lipo batteries.  I see it's upgradable but im not really into embedded programming. I bought a ASPUSB but i think it's the wrong one. Could someone help me with getting the right ASPUSB for connecting the charger with my computer?

Hi,

AFAIK all these chargers are made to charge lixx cell primarily. It's surprising that your does not support it.

That is not the right one. You have to look for some AVR ISP (in system programmer), for example USBasp is cheap and available on Aliexpress.

Also, you have to check what microcontroller your charger has. USBasp is only for AVR MCUs like Atmega32.
