There is an Imax B8 charger.
The original firmware is too full of batteries.
I put: CHEAL-charger-ADCKeyboardAnalyzer-150W_2.00-e10.3.12-20160613_atmega32.hex
The charging current calibration does not work.
You can not go under 450mA (100mA calibration).
1A calibration if 750mA of battery current, the charging input 2.5A
Can you describe what AVR do one leg while charging?
(Switching signal, PWM ...)
I was looking for in the program layout feet but could not find.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Sorry, I don't understand.

This is not correct FW for your charger. Imax B8 matches with Turnigy-Accucel-8-150W-7A, at least in limits and hopefully pinout too.
Look for hex cheali-charger-Turnigy-Accucel-8-150W-7A_*_atmega32.hex on github in hex directory.
Direct link to current hex. (will get broken for new FW builds)

The charging current calibration does not work.
You can not go under 450mA (100mA calibration).
1A calibration if 750mA of battery current, the charging input 2.5A
Test it with correct FW version mentioned above and report back.

You can look into schematics. Pin mapping might be slightly different. Exact mapping for FW I linked can be found here and here.

Are you looking for something specific?

I tried the new firmware.
There is no change :(
The pin-out is looking good.

Just to be sure, that I understand it.
You have connected battery on output in series with Ammeter.
Then you enter 100mA charge current calibration, then hit Start to start calibration.
Even when you hold DEC(-) key for long time, you are not able to reach 100mA on Ammeter?

That's right.
Minimum 450mA adjustable (calibration value = 1)
1A calibration:
Battery <750mA> Charger <2.5A> Power Supply
Whistling over 800mA and the charger restarts.

This is weird. Stock FW is be able go to 100mA. With cal. value =1 should be DC-DC converter almost turned off.

1A calibration:
Battery <750mA> Charger <2.5A> Power Supply
What battery do you use to do current calibration?

Whistling over 800mA and the charger restarts.
What power supply do you use? What value is input voltage?
Charger should not restart by itself. Looks like some HW issue.

hi
if current not reduce 100mA value.
Problem maybe output pwm Power fet failure (internal buck PS) (or controller circuit failure)
Q10 Power FET shorted.

(schematic is 2x400W not 150W 8cells charger)

checking:
please increase input voltage battery voltage
try current calibration near 0. (actually not available.)

please reduce input voltage below battery voltage,
try current calibration. If current able 0mA, current pwm  buck ps failed q10 and driver!!! r58 r57 and q11 q12.
maybe. :)

Li-ion Battery Online, 1, 3, 4, 6, 8-cell pack.
I calibrated the tension in each of the 8 cell as described herein.
The current calibration tried 8 and fewer cell, but the result is not changed.
The battery can be approximately half filled, checked the power supply to a minimum 1A power "want this" pick-and 1.2A current limit signal so yeah.
Measurement, the instrument of the branch of Battery + I connect serial.
Calibration 1A seems resolved.
IRFZ44N in the power supply is caused by the error. not closed completely.
When I first became suspicious a few days ago the fet, I replaced the fet input polarity surveillance because there was no other at hand. Accordingly, it was wrong.
I changed and no longer unrealistic current (input monitoring is I added).

In the drawing, the reverse is Q15 (D-S).

When you enter calibration and selecting the 100mA
The value of Value in vain'll take off until either 1 can not go lower than the current 150-200mA.
If the calibration value is below 200, it will not be accepted.
If I set different levels of calibration, eg 200mA.
It can be set up without problems, but not so accepted calibration. If want charging asks to re-calibrate.
I set the minimum possible calibration and accepted what I put in a cell for charging. The display 238mA, according to the charging current, the ampere meter according to 319mA.
For larger charging current good measure. (1A and above).

There is definitely something broken in your charger (you should be able to set Iout to <100mA in current calibration) it should be fixed!,
but you can always try a workaround:
1. in "options"->"calibrate"->"I charge"->"100mA" set "Iexpec:" to 400mA (don't leave this menu yet)
2. calibrate this "calibration point" with a 400mA current
(now you can leave menu 1.)
3. now you should see  "options"->"calibrate"->"I charge"->"400mA" (instead of "100mA")
4. calibrate the 1A "calibration point"
5. set: "options"->"settings"->"min Ic:" to 350mA
unfortunately you wont be able to charge with currents less than 350mA.

I changed more parts.
The charger works perfectly, keeping the set values.
Thanks for the help.
