Thanks Jarno.

https://groups.google.com/d/msg/cheali-charger/LKy6qITaVDg/CMf604cF4x8J - I didn't do that, I guess the path is different in my case as I'm still using windows XP. But I'm pretty sure I put it in the right place, because I haven't found any other place where to put it, and there were lots of other ini files, and it worked from the first time. So in my case I think the path is correct.

I'm not sure whether reinstalling the LogView would change anything. Because LogView receives data, it just can't understand it. Eventually I might try reinstalling it.
One question though, how come that your LogView shows graphs for Balance 1-6, Resistance 1-6 and all other stuff I don't have in my LogView?

I hope it helps.

The gnd from temp connector is not connected anywere in my charger(please see three posts above). I'm using the gnd from programming port.
Thanks.

Ok, if it's not com port speed thing (I got it only working with 9600 on charger and ini file), then check your resistor... I soldered a extra wire(with 1kohm resistor) before the resistor on PCB, so I can use temp sensor port unmodified for temp sensor and extra wire for logview(not at the same time). But I got garbage info when I had port speed problem.

Hello guys,
Finally it worked at speed 38400. The Serial logging shows some reasonable data now but the graphs are not built.
Here is a screen grab:

Jarno83, why your LogView shows graphs and all the labels in English, whereas mine some in English others German? Am I doing something wrong?
I'm running Windows XP and the ini files are in C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\LogView\Geraete folder.

Thank you.

Some info is german in my logview also.. but for graphs it takes text from chealicharger file... if set device ti imax b6 then it's german and if chealicharger then in english.

I don't know if this is helpful but for Linux you should copy ChealiCharger_1.0.ini
into: ~/.wine/drive_c/users/stawel/Application Data/LogView/Geraete/OpenFormat/

for windows XP it is probably: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\LogView\Geraete\OpenFormat\

if needed select:

and finely set your device to: Cheali Charger

Thanks Pawel.
It works now after I put the ini file in OpenFormat folder (initially it was there but, as it didn't work, I moved it one folder up, where other ini files are located).

Best regards.
