I chose the battery 3S, i connect the power cable, connect pin0, pin1 balance cable.
I enter the menu operation, calibration, select a cell №1, click Enter-- the screen goes blank, device restart

I don't fully understand you, but if you have any problems with the calibration, do:

1. reset all settings: go to "options"->"reset default" 

2. calibrate the charger, fist voltage then charge/discharge current

I figured out, the device is defective.
Was faulty one mosfet.
