NO!  NOT   that that kind.  Greg donated his refrigerator for common use at the last meeting, and William and I moved it into 106 this morning.

Just a bit of pot-trivia history, for those of you who like that sort of thing.

Ever wonder how The word  "Reefer"  became slang for a joint?

Partly, .  is because a joint "chills you out".  In the early days of air-conditioning/home refrigerors,  such cooling machine were called "reefer's" for short.  Pretty quickly, even while marijuana was legal (pre-1939)  The "hep cats ( proto-hipsters  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hepcat ) began referring to joints as reefer's because they made people "cool"

Post WWII, most Northern  people began using the word  "fridge" to refer to the machine we in the South always called an "ice box"  anyway.

However, during a serious, person economic decline in my late thirties, I was quite surprised to find that in the trucking industry, the term "reefer truck"   is still commonly used to mean a refrigerated truck or trailer, and for  that reason,  in the moving industry (Mayflower, Bekins et. al) home refrigerators are still often  called "reefers"

I suggest we set aside one fridge for 106/206  residents, and the other for meal plan needs and potlucks.

Sounds good. I'll move my remaining food over to the new fridge and freezer.

Thanks for this donation and the work to move it!

IMPORTANT Note: Please do not fill both refrigerators to capacity
unit we replace the bad gasket. For the glue to stick, we need to
take the old refrigerator off line for avout 24-36 hours. The old Ice
box will need to come to room temperature before we apply the glue,
otherwise we risk the effect of condensation, which will weaken the
glue bond. Most RTV type sealers need 24 hours to fully cure.
Therefore, we w9ill need somewhere else to put the food while we
replace the bad gasket. ON another note: Greg's suggestion is a very
good one. I hope it will be followed.

Sorry for the re-post.
The first time I put this up it ended up down on the stack. I am not
as computer literate as I should be.

I think this whole (worthy) discussion should be on
"mem...@lareunioncoop.org".

This list (cheacoopd...@googlegroups.org) has been repurposed for
inter-house communication between Sasona and La Reunion.

Just an FYI.
