THIS MONTH'S COMMUNITY HIGHLIGHT: Circle of Children Greetings friends,  Amanda here to share about my continued journey visiting communities and  an update on Within Reach Movie. First, I decided to take back my given name several months ago, so yes, this is still "Mandy" but I now go by Amanda! :) I recently made several new visits to sustainable communities and I continue to be SO INSPIRED by the thousands of people choosing to create loving relationships with the natural world and with each other and live in deeper alignment with their core values (compassion, voluntary simplicity, abundance etc.). The 127th community visit was to Circle of Children in Triangle Lake outside Eugene, Oregon. You can attend their upcoming event - Tribal Essence - to help grow this powerful vision if you feel connected to it as I do. Partway through the visit, I was literally moved to tears as I was witnessing what is possible for our planet and her inhabitants, already made reality by the founders of this forming community and school. Uniquely, they have adopted 60 acres with existing facilities (commercial kitchen, gymnasium, lodges, office and more), thereby providing transitional housing and amenities as they grow the ecovillage and neighborhoods over time. Regardless, the youth and adults stewarding this project are not wasting any time and have already planted hundreds of fruit and nut trees, large permaculture gardens, as well as developed a curriculum for a year-round alternative school and more...                                                                  Blessings on your journey,                                              Amanda More and more Towns and Cities Talking about Sustainable Community Living...
