to African Sky
Friends,
Thank you to everyone who stepped up to support my family through the Malian drought this year. Your donations and thoughts/prayers/vibes have made a lasting difference in my life, and the lives of my family.
Today there is another chance to support the future for our "cousins" in Mali. I'm writing to ask you to join us in supporting African Sky in this year's GiveMN--Give To The Max Campaign. African Sky is an organization that I have been volunteering with since 2008, when I received a mini-grant to support my Peace Corps work.
GiveMN is an online resource that allows people to easily donate to non-profits in Minnesota, from anywhere in the world. TODAY, November 16th, GiveMN will be hosting Give to the Max Day, which is a one day giving campaign with special chances to win extra funds for African Sky. If you choose to donate you can try your luck knowing that every hour GiveMN will choose a donor at random and add $1,000 to their gift!
Below are the links to two projects that African Sky is sponsoring in Mali. By clicking on one or both of these links, you can learn more about our work, and donate in any amount. (What better way to kick off the season of gratitude than sharing your blessings with others!?)
