Today is the day! The Nafula Foundation Annual Event and Silent
Auction is tonight!
The event begins at 6:30pm at Intermedia Arts in Uptown, Minneapolis -
2822 Lyndale Avenue South Minneapolis, MN 55408
Highlights of tonight's event include:
- A welcoming ceremony by African drummer and dancer Fatawu Sayibu,
who will perform between 6:45 and 7:15pm.
- A Kilimanjaro Entertainment DJ will be spinning East African music
from 7:00 to 9:00pm.
- Live painter Daisy Giles will be performing throughout the night.
- There will be a silent auction with items from:

Dunn Brothers
44th Street Dental
Barbette
Pat’s Tab
Bryant Lake Bowl
Glamour Shots
Michael Kors jewelry
Several art pieces by various artists
And much more!
- Catering by Broder’s Pasta Bar and drinks by Pabst beer and a local
winery.
We’re suggesting a donation of:
$15 for students
$35 for adults
You’re welcome to give as much or as little as you like. We’re here to
celebrate - not just raise money for a good cause.
But please know that cash, credit cards and checks will all be
accepted.
Remember, all proceeds go toward rebuilding Chebukwa Primary School,
because all students deserve a safe, clean classroom to learn in.
