Are you interested in the intersection of food policy & health?
Humphrey Students are hosting a speed networking event around those issues and all are invited.
I'm planning on heading over tomorrow - maybe I'll see you there!

Hello good folks,

Are you writing a paper or thesis on food or agricultural policy? Are you considering research or a career in these fields? Are you just interested in food policy and want to learn more?

If so, then join the Humphrey Food Policy Collaborative for Food Policy Research "Speed Networking" on Monday, February 27th from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at the Humphrey School in Room 180

At this event students, staff, and faculty will have a structured opportunity to talk about their research interests in food policy, get input on their research design and research questions, learn about other food policy research going on at the HHH and the U of MN, and network with other food policy enthusiasts. Potential issues that would be relevant include (but are not limited to) domestic food and farm policy, biofuels, food security, hunger, trade policy, obesity & other diet-related health issues, urban agriculture, food justice, food deserts, and more.

While this event is hosted by Humphrey School students and will take place at the Humphrey, we encourage a wide range of students, staff, and faculty to attend from CFANS, APEC, the School of Public Health, and more.

Lastly, we promise you’ll have great conversations over tasty treats (what kind of food group would we be without good food?). We look forward to “speed networking” with you one week from today!

Sincerely,

The Humphrey Food Policy Collaborative Team
