BTG 150 Trees

Chautauquans,

Thank you to everyone who has already donated to the BTG's effort to plant 150 trees on the grounds.  There are still trees available!  

The BTG is also raising funds to help maintain our existing tree canopy.  Many trees need trimming, regular evaluation, and pest control to keep them healthy.  For example the BTG is testing a treatment that might help delay or prevent the loss of our American beech trees, which are being decimated by beech leaf disease.  Look for the zebra striped beech leaves and you'll see the tragedy unfolding.

and donating to Canopy Care, or by sponsoring a tree through our Adopt-a-Tree donation.  Adopted trees receive a tree tag with the dedication of your choice. Celebrate a special person or event in your family!  Any tree that is not already tagged with a dedication is available and there are lots of them.
