Rumor is the Chautauqua administration is considering eliminating the "Guest of" season passes. I tried looking into whether this is the case to no avail (no response to my email whatsoever). Does anyone have any information on this? As a person who rents her condo part of the summer... I need this information way ahead of season so that I can determine prices/ packages and my own length of stay.  Helpful if the admin would respond and we could work with full info for 2023. Thanks for any help.

Sincerely,
Olivia

This would be a good question for the google group CHQ FAQ. If you send Shannon Rozner an e-mail, she can let you know how to be part of that group. It is set up for questions specifically for the institution.

Ladies…. For 20+ yrs we always ordered 2 full Season ‘Guest passes’ for our children to use for their weekly visiting friends/significant others.  It was a most convenient system to save the parents multiple trip to the long lines @ Main Gate…. even if the passes weren’t used 100% of the time.  The last 2 yrs I had to politely insist on same program and was ONLY accommodated because I had a history on file and was told they were no longer avail.  Richard Parlato CPOA (POWR) attempted to demystify the CHQ Gate passes and a tangled system and brought Ticket Dept experts to BOD to educate us. The only information garnered from many questions was there are/were 50-60 different types of Gate passes.  All other Gate pass details were not avail for property owners other than ‘they’ would be over-hauling the system within next several years (pre-coVID).
