I would like to second Caroline Bissell's endorsement of Danny Diven (716-543-6980). Some of you may remember my "over the top" laudatory recommendation of Danny for the superb painting job he did for us last year -- pretty much the entire house (five bedrooms, four bathrooms, living room, kitchen, dining room, etc) striping off multiple layers of wall paper, some dating back to the 1840s, and repainting to perfection. He is now engaged in a new round of work involving insulation, sealing decades' old animal holes, and doing general "handyman tasks," all performed with great skill and breakneck speed. Extremely personable, very reasonable, totally reliable.
