We enjoyed visits from several Easter egg hunters during the Bunny Hop and delighted in awarding the ever-stylish Lynda Barber with the prize for best Easter bonnet. Karin Cockram’s Spring Art Show also opened that day and is available for viewing during Saturday open hours, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Her fabric art is particularly intriguing. |

Writers Group member Judy Shuler spoke at The Patterson Library on Tuesday, April 14th. The date, Holocaust Remembrance Day, is particularly meaningful, as her book The Nazi’s Daughter was the focus of her talk. It’s a point of view quite different from the usual. Her book is available on Amazon. |

And speaking of writers, on Wednesday, April 29th, come meet author T.F. Herr as he gives a talk on his book, “The Lost Gold of Chautauqua.” |

| Thursday, April 23, 7:30 p.m., brings another Songwriters Circle to our stage. We’ll feature Chris LaVancher from just outside Boston, MA, Jade Giambrone, “a spunky singer/songwriter from Cherry Creek, NY,” and Michael DeLano from Buffalo, NY. If you’ve not attended one of these events, you’re missing out on some wonderful entertainment. Reserve your seat on our website or just come up that evening. |

| As ever, the Innovation Studio is open for members’ use every Saturday from 11 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and other hours by arrangement. Saturday, April 25, there will be a class offered during Open Studio: “Light Painting Basics in Photography.” Saturday, May 9th, learn how to “Set up the Innovation Studio for Video.” On May 21st, “Quick & Easy Video Edits using Premiere Rush”, on May 28th, “Quick & Easy Audio Edits using Audition”, on May 30th, “Setting Up Innovation Studio to Record Audio.” You can become a member and sign up for classes on our website. |
