Lenna Hall concert for Thursday Morning Brass on the grapevine
We give an annual Thursday Morning Brass Concert in Lenna Hall on the 9th week of each season and this year we will also include other music groups in our Chautauqua Amateur Musicians Program (C.A.M.P.)
I am attaching the flyer that will be going out soon for your info.
This year The Summer Strummers will lead off the program with a sing-a-long, and during the concert Thursday Morning Brass will be featured along with our Tuba-Euphonium Quartet and our Dixie Lakesiders . Almost all are season long Chautauquans and only four or five have had formal music training as music educators and band directors. The rest of us are amateurs who enjoy playing. All of our activities when they generate donations goes 100% to the scholarship programs for the Music School Festival Orchestra and the annual concert is the biggest event we hold for that purpose. We hope to have a packed house. There is no fee ----------------just donations at the door.
I am attaching the flyer and a draft of the expected program which has not been finalized but you can use it as you see fit. The concert will be in Lenna Hall on Tuesday August 21 at 4 PM.
