Let me answer this question hoping it will clarify matters for all who rely on the Grapevine as an amazingly useful community tool.
There are three of us who moderate the Grapevine. We have to screen every message before it's posted to make sure it fits within the guidelines the community has shown work. The three of us are just volunteers and we get dozens of proposed postings every day each of which must be individually reviewed and then put on the Grapevine or rejected as falling outside the guidelines. We try to be prompt but if you post at 7:30 p.m. we may not be at our computer at the moment to review and post it. It may take a day so please be patient with us. Like you, we've got a full summer schedule and aren't on instant standby to screen, reject or post every message that pops up. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding. Much appreciated.
As to the CHQ community, please keep this in mind when sending a message to the Grapevine. If you have tickets to an Amp event you want to buy or sell for a performance in 4 hours, we may not get to it right away. Give us as much lead time as you can, please.
