CCMTA All-County Festival June 1

Hello Friends,

Suzanne Fassett-Wright, Chautauqua's Director of Arts Education here, letting you know that the Chautauqua County Music Teacher's Association Spring All-County Festival will be held at Chautauqua Institution on Saturday, June 1. Closed rehearsals will be held in venues throughout the grounds, the evening performance which is open to the public begins at 7:30pm in the Chautauqua Amphitheater.

The Chautauqua County Music Teacher’s Association’s annual All-County Spring Festival has been a tradition at Chautauqua, a celebration of young musicians for the past 60 years. This performance will include the Elementary Chorus, Elementary Strings, Junior Chorus, Junior Band, Senior Chorus and Senior Band. Each group will be conducted by guest conductors from around the country. As always, the program will conclude with a rousing version of the Battle Hymn of the Republic, including all junior and senior musicians. 

This is not a Chautauqua Institution event – it is hosted and planned by CCMTA, supported by select Institution staff. Admission cost is $5, with tickets available at https://ccmta.ticketleap.com/ccmta-2024-spring-all-county-festival/dates/Jun-01-2024_at_0730PM, or paying in cash at the Amphitheater gates.
