Chautauqua Institution office in Washington, DC

The minutes of the May, 2018 trustees meeting state that the Institution’s new DC office wil open shortly. The minutes state that a grand opening celebration is planned for September.

I’m not aware of any publicity regarding the office, its location, purpose, etc. Chautauquans from the DC area might be interested in details of the grand opening celebration.

Dear Bob and all Grapevine Participants:

Thanks for this question regarding the DC Office Grand Opening.  There is an event planned in September that is focused on introducing our DC location to Chautauqua’s DC metro area-based program partners (current and prospective).  Given the size of the DC office, it is not possible to offer an open invitation to this particular gathering.  However, we do want everyone to feel welcome to schedule a visit to the office as your calendars permit.  Rindy Barmore (rbar...@chq.org) will be happy to receive your requests and arrange visits when staff will be there to host you.

 

The purpose of the DC office is to situate Chautauqua in proximity to current and prospective program partners and funding organizations for the proposes of building stronger relationships in support Chautauqua’s mission.
