Hi All:
For whatever reason the Grapevine doesn't share answers to questions to the whole group. So, here's my compilation of answers received to date about EV charging. Special thanks to Becky Robbins.
Many people said: Inside the institution there are 2 plugs in the North lot. There is at least one in the south lot. At least one person thinks times can be reserved by calling the CHQ maintenance department. ???

Jamestown:
There is a fast charger on Fourth Street in a parking lot across Lafayette from Lafayette Corners Furniture Store...one block up from the ice rink. It takes 20 minutes.
We also have two units (I think two chargers each) at the Park and Ride...you get off exit 12 on the S. Tier Expressway and you'll see it across Rte. 60 to your left. There are also two in the Cherry Street parking ramp which is connected to the DoubleTree Hilton; enter the ramp off Fifth Street, to the left just past the Double Tree. You could park for 45 minutes and go into the Hotel for lunch or a drink. The two other units are on the JCC campus near the Hamilton Center.
I work for the Jamestown Board of Public Utilities which is the local electric, water, solid waste, etc. etc. utility in the City. We are going to install some more fast chargers but haven't received them yet. It is free for you to charge.
In Lakewood, there is a unit (or two?) at the Village Hall. There are two across from the Harbor Hotel in Celoron in "downtown Celoron." I'm not sure if these are fast or the 45 minute chargers or if they cost as they're out of BPU territory.
If you need better directions, let me know.

There is only one electric cord and one plug in the north lot. There are two plugs in the South Lot. Many people want to use the North lot charging station because it does have the cord.
Last year it was a problem with people leaving there cars for more than a day. Also some obtained passes from the gym that allowed them to use the charger, but thought that it meant they could park their car there all day, and did not move their car when done. Other people feel they are entitled to unplug someone’s car, in the middle of charging. We need a system that allows everyone access to charging stations, and some rules for use.
It would really be helpful to have more charging stations on the grounds.

Does anyone know where there are electric chargers within a reasonable range of the institution? I know there is a charging station in the north lot I think it has two outlets. I didn’t realize until yesterday there was more than one up there. Looking for ways to reasonably charge my car, especially during the season.
