An employment certificate, often referred to as “working papers”, is required for minors under the age 18 before they may begin work. Working papers are issued by all local school districts in New York State. The offices at Chautauqua Lake Central School are open weekdays throughout the summer, with staff generally available from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM to process applications. Other times may be available by appointment. Applicants are encouraged to call for an appointment.
FIRST TIME APPLICANTS
