I'm really sorry but you can't count on me tonight either. I'd really
love to do this tonight, but I have left Stephen home alone with the
kids 8 nights in a row now, and will be gone tomorrow night because I
have to teach Bible Study, and will be out of town for the entire
weekend for a women's retreat. In addition to that, I am still
processing the pics from 6 shows of the middle school musical I was
asked to photograph at CCS last week, a baby shower, PresWic meeting
Saturday, and a 7th grade trip to Dollywood yesterday. And I'm behind
on homeschooling, and Joseph has the CRCTs (standardized tests) next
week which I'm supposed to be preparing him for. Oh, and this morning
we awoke to find that the little boys are officially out clean
underwear. So unless I get a MIRACULOUS amount of laundry, photo
processing and homeschooling done before 6 pm, I don't think I can
bear the look on my husband's face if I tell him I off to play with my
camera again tonight. :(
Right now it looks like I can make the May meeting, but being the last
month of school when they cram in every last field trip, choir
performance and awards ceremony, that is subject to change. But June
should be good, and since school will be out and all five kids will be
home all day every day, I will SO be needing a little time to myself,
you know? And we will have daylight even longer then, so I'm hoping
you will schedule some more shooting meetings during the spring/
summer. I would really like a primer on when/how to incorporate fill
flash and reflectors into outdoor portraits, and perhaps some
instruction on efficiently finding the perfect balance between dof and
crisp focus. :)
