Hi Andy,

Thank you so much for carving time out of your day to come onsite to meet the team! We enjoyed meeting you and appreciate the time you have spent speaking to us.

After careful consideration, we have decided not to move along with your candidacy at this time. Unfortunately, we cannot provide detailed feedback to everyone. We had a lot of great people apply, and can only select the ones that are most closely aligned with what we are looking for.

We greatly appreciate your interest in Slack, and wish you the very best in all your future endeavors.

Vannaro

Oops, they missed an opportunity.
There is a better one waiting for you somewhere else. Keep searching for it. Do not settle !

Regards,

Eric

Absolutely. Beside searching, now I know roughly where Slack is at in Windows app development and where they want to head to. I'm going to kick off a side project and ramp up the development of the Slack app for Windows phone I developed for this interview, make it run universally and seamlessly on all Windows 10 platforms, recruit some like-minded people at Microsoft to help out and roll it out to the Windows app store as soon as I can. There is a chance to get traction if Slack continues to grow.

Best,
