Many Teachers
Suffered
Today marks almost ~400 days of Covid
pandemic that affected and changed (for the good or bad) lives of millions of people on our planet. Teachers are no exception. And as our line of
business is directly teaching tools, we have special place in our hearts for teachers here at Cognifront.
Prof. Chitra Sahastrabuddhe teaches at NCHS and is hugely popular among students. Girls and
boys alike they love her for her caring attitude and particular discipline as well. Pandemic posed typical challenge in front of her - her maid who
would otherwise do the household work could not come to work due to pandemic. Many apartments had put very strict control over maids, hawkers,
vegetable sellers, and milkmen also. So Prof. Chitra had to then manage household along with teaching from home - both equally demanding.

What initially appears has a simple issue has many folds to
it. While people are at home 24x7 then preparing variety of foods, taking care of everyone's mood and keeping schedule, balancing work, preparing for
lectures, all household work, maintaining discipline of your own children, there is simply a lot of intangible work. Plus teachers can't appear for
lectures stressed out as well. So keeping one's self fresh despite of so much to do is a high priority.
Mental health of their students is also something every teacher has to be responsible for.
Many teachers engaged their students in activities online other than just studies. Chitra also did her best to keep her students engaged, motivated
and mentally sane.
In this episode we spoke only
about a woman's case study. That does not mean male teachers didn't suffer at all. They had different league of challenges.
