Menurut MINDEF, dalam latihan bersama bertajuk 30th edition of Exercise Chandrapura (XCP) itu, prajurit hantu rimba Kopassus dan SAF saling bertukar pengetahuan taktik dan teknik serta prosedur komando dalam sebuah pertempuran.

Pasukan Korps Baret Merah Kopassus mengikuti latihan bersama itu dengan dipimpin langsung oleh Komandan Jenderal (Danjen) Kopassus, Mayor Jenderal TNI Djo Afriandi, sedangkan SAF dipimpin Kepala Komando SAF, Kolonel Pang Chee Kong.

Dalam XCP 30th ini, Kopassus dan SAF beraksi melaksanakan latihan serangan gabungan dalam Operasi Perang Kota, enggak cuma itu saja, prajurit TNI juga melaksanakan terjun bebas dari pesawat militer di langit Kota Kosmopolitan Dunia itu.
