In our recent 2021 Credential Stuffing Report, we talked about the prevalence of credential stuffing attacks and the bot technology that attackers use. Hi, I am looking for an app, or a service, that will help to resolve capture requests in iOS, preferably Safari all any other browser that will run on iOS.
The captures I am referring to are those letters or numbers which are displayed as text in an image that you need to enter to prove you're not a robot. Unfortunately lots of sites on the web do not give a choice for audio capture requests.

The only cross-platform CAPTCHA-solver that I know of is under development for mobile devices. It is from Accessible Apps and it is called CAPTCHA Be Gone. I am not sure of the status of the iOS version which would most likely only work with Firefox for iOS at its first release.

When you run into a captcha using safari, double tap and hold on the captcha image until options appeare. From this menu, choose to save image. Now open the TapTapSee app and go to library and double tap on the image to send it.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion of using TapTapSee. I followed the instructions listed, however tap tap C just tells me that the image is a capture. It doesn't give me the letters or numbers inside to capture. Am I doing something wrong?

Rocco, in case you have not noticed, your misspelling of the word CAPTCHA in your original post has been corrected. The word is not "capture" but "CAPTCHA" as it is an acronym that stands for "completely automated public touring test to tell computers and humans apart".

Hi, I tried giving this another go. The first time it didn't work and just said image is capture. I then tried again, and it converted it into letters/numbers.
So it worked, I was able to successfully log into the site. Awesome thank you so much.

This has always been a hot button for me! It should not be permissible to create a website with a visual verification process in less you are also including an audio alternative for blind users! To me, this is akin to a physical store that is open to the general public not providing wheelchair access to the entrance. I find it absolutely outrageous That this kaptcha BS is still continuing!

Yes, this is discrimination, and yes, discrimination is bad, but this is no worse than other forms of discrimination against people with visual impairment--people being refused jobs simply on the grounds of their vision impairment; dog guide users not being able to enter taxis and ride-sharing vehicles; the inaccessibility of some websites; and the inability to access reading material. Until every person with visual impairment declares that this is not acceptable, progress will be slow. But I can see the land on the other side of the river, and we are slowly approaching it, so I know that this is possible and within our reach.
