Agric value chain has been defined as various activities of people that bring basic agricultural products from inputs and production from the field to the consumers through various stages such as processing, storage, packaging, logistics and distribution.

 

These activities might include: development and dissemination of plant and animal genetic material, input supply, farmer organization, farm production, post-harvest handling, processing, provision of technologies of production and handling, grading criteria and facilities, cooling and packing technologies, post-harvest industrial processing, storage, transport, finance, and feedback from markets.

Innovative solutions /products development to issues of meeting the need of consumers or end user(s) in the value chain drives profit potentials in Agribusiness and that is the fulcrum of this paper.
