CIRCLES OF COMPASSION

Concerning the Rochester Circe of Compassion, John Testa reports:
Seven people attended the last meeting, one of whom was new to the
group. This brings the number of people who have attended at least one
meeting to 13. The newcomer provided interesting input to the meeting.
He also provided diversity. He is a Zen Buddhist and the rest of us
are Christians. It is exciting that he plans to be a regular meeting
attendee. I have spoken in the past about the enthusiasm people have
for the Circle. Last night I asked the members to write testimonials
about the Circle. Their writing will show what a positive experience
it is and inspire people to form additional circles. The testimonials

ON COMPASSION: EIGHT INTERVIEWS

Earlier this year, I invited a large number of folks I know in
Tepoztlan, Mexico to be interviewed on several questions related to
compassion. Eight accepted my invitation. Robin Rainbow Gate filmed
the interviews, which proved to be quite interesting, offering various
perspectives. Four are in English and four are in Spanish. Most are
about 15 minutes in length. With one exception due to technical
difficulties, all are posted on our YouTube channel at

FALL EVENT

Roma Guy and I continue to make good progress planning a Compassionate
Politics workshop to raise issues, explore opportunities, and plan
actions to cultivate compassionate political activity. This full-day
workshop will take place in September or October at a location in San
Francisco to be determined. If you or anyone you know might be
interested, please let us know. And spread the word, if you will.

HOLISTIC TRANSFORMATION QUESTIONNAIRE

Forty-two individuals responded to the Holistic Transformation
Questionnaire. Their responses are at
